DCSO Deutsche Cyber-Sicherheitsorganisation GmbH is a cybersecurity competence center and service provider for leading and innovative companies in the German economy. The company was founded at the end of 2015 by Allianz SE, BASF SE, Bayer AG, and Volkswagen AG as a manufacturer-independent managed security service provider. The company's goal is to protect customers and their supply chains against criminal hackers, digital industrial espionage, foreign intelligence services, and sabotage attacks – and thus to strengthen Germany as a location in the networked global economy in order to enable efficient and effective defense against increasingly professional attackers.
DCSO does not see itself as another provider on the market, but as a partner of its customers and an agile part of a network between market, economy, community, and politics. DCSO's understanding of itself is based on the core of its vision to create more cybersecurity for Germany, independent of the market and free of the interests of third parties.
