I have worked since 1995 in the field of cybersecurity, both in America and Europe. My academic background comprises a PhD degree in Computer Architecture from the ”Technical University of Catalonia” (Spain), and co-authoring more than 50 cybersecurity-related publications including scientific papers, standards, and a patent. My previous industrial experience includes senior PKI manager (Spain, Mexico), and research director for the Cloud Security Alliance EMEA (U.K.). Currently I work for Robert Bosch GmbH (Germany) on topics related to security governance for cloud and Artificial Intelligence. In 2020, ENISA (EU Agency for Cybersecurity) nominated me as one of the 20 experts to develop the new European cybersecurity certification scheme for cloud services. Furthermore, since 2020 I technically manage EU-funded flagship projects on automated cybersecurity certification.
My main motivation is to bring innovation in cybersecurity to the industry, so we can keep ourselves “one step ahead”.
